Sunrise Florida. USA

Daily Photo – Sunrise Florida. USA

Maybe I’ve been lucky, but every sunrise I’ve seen on the east coast of Florida has been absolutely beautiful. Even on days when it’s quite cloudy, the sun somehow manages to pop through and make the whole scene epic. Besides that, nothing beats a morning walk on the beach to clear your head and get you ready for the day! 🙂

Remarkables. New Zealand.

Mist and cloud on the mountains… from this far away, it looks like a mist is blowing across the tops of the mountains. It makes it all appear more dramatic than perhaps it really is while you are there. But I guess there is this idea of relative drama. If you are actually there on the mountain, it’s probably quite mild and pretty. But, from way back here, dozens of miles away, it looks much more intense.

Lenticulars. New Zealand.

Daily Photo – Lenticulars. New Zealand.

This is a new area I discovered near Arrowtown and Queenstown in New Zealand. When the grasses get long in the late summer, they move in the breeze. It’s almost like you can see the wind itself while standing there. Those flying-saucer-shaped clouds are quite rare and are called Lenticulars. When you’re a photographer, you get to collect all sorts of useless information like that.

Glacial Power

Daily Photo – Glacial Power

This is one of the largest pieces I have ever made; the giant TIFF is about 21,000 pixels across. I shot it one cool and crisp morning at Glacier National Park in this crystal-clear lake that is fed by glacial runoff. It is comprised of 90 different photos that took a small eternity to mix into an epic HDR. I do huge prints for collectors around the world, and some are printed up to 3 meters across, so this is a technique I’ve come to enjoy.

Game of Thrones. France.

Next up from the Earth’s Landscapes Alive: Genesis Series is “Game of Thrones. France.”

Mont Saint-Michel is one of my favorite places to visit in Normandy. It’s always captured my imagination because, as I a kid, I loved castles. Well, I still love castles. While not exactly a castle, this location is very special because when the tide comes up, this whole place becomes an island. There are many reports of people dying trying to get off the island as the tide is coming in. (Give it a sec to load 🙂 )

Good Morning. Vietnam

One of the 30 images from my new collection on Foundation. This was my first time in Vietnam and this was the view as I was flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Phú Quốc. SE Asia is great for these sorts of photos because there is often a lot of humidity in the air that helps to create these crepuscular light patterns.

Monuments. USA.

Here’s another image from the new NFT drop on Foundation. It’s a varied collection with images from across the globe and was a whole load of fun to create. I hope you enjoy seeing them. 🙂

Earth’s Landscapes Alive: Genesis Series

Hey friend! Here’s an early look at a cool new collection of landscapes as I’ve put together. 30 images from around the world on Foundation. This NFT drop is a bit different than the others where I would have over 100 or even more of multiple editions. It’s very simple, as all of these are 1/1s and appeal more to the main base of Foundation, which is full of mostly collectors rather than people that just want to buy n’ flip (not saying anything is wrong with that – just noting the difference). Enjoy!
