Itchy Ski People
Daily Photo – Itchy Ski People
With it being autumn here in Queenstown there have been a few snow flurries in the last little while. I’m sure everyone who like a bit of the Queenstown winter sports action is starting to get a bit itchy for some action whenever the peaks start to get a covering! This is actually a fun photo from my recent workshop down here in Queenstown. On the last night, I was going to take everyone to my favorite ponds for shooting at dusk, but the driver said, “No, you should come to MY ponds, they are way better!” So, I went with the universe, and, sure enough, they were better! 🙂
Voyager
Saw this last week but was busy doing the workshop. It’s pretty crazy that there’s tech out there, older than the Atari 2600 (as one example), doing all sorts of cool space science stuff but that they can fix it from 15 billion miles away is so cool. Well done NASA people!
Weird Coincidence
Daily Photo – Weird Coincidence
It occurred to me when I was doing the last few posts that new cameras seem to align with workshops/photo adventures. Venice was the H5D, for example, or like here where the 80 Stays Europe tour started in Portugal and was a mix of workshops and photo walks. That was my first real use of the X1D. Now, with the current NZ photo adventure which is just wrapping up it was my first proper “project” with the a7CR. Weird that it works out like that.
