Continuing the rundown of my cameras over the years before I reveal what new device, I’ve moved to it is Sony time! My move to mirrorless and views on how the market would evolve wasn’t the first time I’d received “a bit” of heat in the photography world and it probably won’t be the last. Fortunately, that sort of thing bothers me not a jot. I’d rather be out creating than spending brain cycles on other people’s rage. It is however fun to look back and see how it all unfolded in blog posts such as here and here.
In the end though, as I suspected back then, mirrorless was indeed the way forward. Here’s one of my early shots from the Sony NEX-7 as it began taking over from my D800.
