The Vessel in New York City

Passport Reminder

If you’re a Passport Member, you get to see me process my latest photo from Notre Dame in Montreal! Here it is directly below so you can compare it to the Notre Dame in Lyon. Man, these Notre Dames are just popping up all over the place!

First, here is Notre Dame de Fourvière in Lyon
Notre Dame of Lyon This is the interior of the Basilique Notre Dame de Fourvre. It is probably the most lavish and beautiful cathedral I have ever been inside. It beats the other Notre Dame in Paris by a mile. I’ve never been in the Sistine Chapel, which is probably more lavish. I was going to visit it on my last trip to Rome but the Pope died the day I was there… so that one was… busy.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.

Second, here is the Notre Dame in Montreal (which I think is even more beautiful… and that’s saying a lot!)

Daily Photo – The Vessel in New York City

One of the first stops on the Americas tour was The Vessel here in New York City. My friend, The Professor Kenneth Hines got us some passes to go up at sunset. It was the perfect time with the perfect friend! If you are a Passport Member, then you might have seen this Behind-the-Scenes at The Vessel when some asshole guard came up to me and was quite rude about my tripod. I swear… I do actually respect rules, but I don’t like dudes on an egotistic power-trip. Yeah, big deal dude, it’s your job to walk around steps and make sure people don’t use three rods of carbon fiber to secure a camera. You’ve really arrived at your true calling, dude.
