Speaking at Hassleblad at Photokina
If you’re in Germany for Photokina and want to come see me today, I’ll be speaking at the Hasselblad booth at 3 PM. Here’s a bunch of images I took with the H5D over a monthlong trip earlier this year. I’ll be talking about all these images today, telling stories, and more — join me! 🙂
I first got into Hasselblad quite randomly via DJI . I didn’t know much about the cameras at the time, but my friends at DJI kept telling me how awesome they were… and it’s true – I get it now! I’m very interested in their latest camera (the mirrorless medium format). I’m looking forward to seeing what other lenses will be out for it.
This first image is Scarlett and Isabella in India with me… they loved those Indian dresses! We should have gotten them even more! 🙂
New Hasselblad
The Hassy I REALLY want is THIS ONE – the X1D-50c. Looks like a hell of a machine… I wish there were more lenses for it though. But still, medium-format + mirrorless??? Sign me up!
Daily Photo – Tree in the Wind
This is one of the first photos I ever took with the Hasselblad H50. I didn’t even know what the heck I was doing, but it still turned out pretty well. And this is right out of the camera with no significant Lightroom adjustments. Maybe I’m exaggerating a bit by saying I had no idea what was going on. I did figure out how to get it in Ap pri mode, set the ISO, and that sort of thing. I mean, I guess that’s all you really need to know, eh? In future photos, of course, I got more and more into the camera and really figured the thing out!
