A Lonely River at Sunset – Stuck in Customs

A Lonely River at Sunset

River Photos

Whenever you see a river photo from me, you can rest assured I probably did not wade into the middle of the river to do take it. There isn’t anybody that has any sort of time for that. So, it’s pretty much a sure thing that I was standing on a bridge, like in this case below.

Daily Photo – A Lonely River at Sunset

I often drive along long, lonely rivers like this at night just hoping for an oxbow or some place I can take a photo. When I see surprise bridge here or there, I get super-excited, because I know it’s a guarantee photo op! But places like this in Iceland are so wild to me… I just never know where the heck I am… usually I never see a bridge, so I kind of have to judge where the river is ebbing and flowing, park, and then hike out to get along the edge to find a good photo spot. But all that mess is much harder than simply finding a bridge!
