We have some very nice neighbors here in Austin that were first described to be as “naturalists” that were ex-professors. I kept picturing that Will Farrell character with the beard in the hottub, but thankfully they are nothing like that. Their yard always wins all kinds of awards and they always seem to find tons of caterpillars. Ethan greedily accepts all of them and below is one of the creepiest and fattest yet. This thing eats so many leaves it is insane… anyway… here it is:
