Subscribe to my 360 Podcast

i-JcPCdg4.jpgHey, this is kind of a fun announcement! I've now recorded about eight different "Walk n' Talk" discussions with clever people from all around the world. They were all originally recorded on this 360 video camera that I hold in front of us while we walk through beautiful places in the world... When you watch those on YouTube you can grab the camera and aim it any direction you want if you get tired of seeing me and my guest! We also decided to release these as "Audio Only" versions for traditional podcast mechanisms. Just go sign up with your favorite podcasting tech (iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify or in some regions Google Play and give them a bunch of stars! :)

Trey Ratcliff's 360 Podcast - Patrick Crawshaw and the Language of Interior Design

Season 8 Episode 1 of "Walk n' Talk with Trey" This Episode: "Patrick Crawshaw and the language of Interior Design". I was up in the Bay of Islands and stayed at this incredible place called Donkey Bay Inn. I was invited there by my friend David Maxwell who runs Eighth Wonder Travel. It just so happens that his half-brother, Patrick Crawshaw, did the interior design for this unique place so I jumped at the chance to record a new podcast.

Let's meet up sometime soon on my tour of the USA and Canada

I took this on the first night in New York on our trip across the USA and Canada. It was rainy and foggy and moody for the first few days... it gets you and your camera pretty wet, but it's still awesome. This is right by where we were staying at The Edition hotel by the Flatiron Building. If you wanna come see me in the next 7 cities of the tour, check this link!

Reminder: The Text HDR Tutorial is Always Free!

I keep a completely FREE HDR Tutorial on my website. It is a living document that continues to evolve over the years. It goes over everything you need to get started and is a great introduction to the basics of HDR photography and post processing.

Some recent photos from my trip to NYC

Here's the incredible Oculus, which is right by the memorial for the Twin Towers. This was designed by Calatrava... I think the last Calatrava photo I posted was of that crazy glass bridge in Venice that is so dangerous (when it rains, tourists start slipping then fall into the canal somehow!)

Inside the Oculus near ground zero in New York City. Thanks again to everyone that came out for the event! I'll see you soon in New Orleans, and then Canada!

Here's a cool area of Brooklyn I've never visited called Red Hook. There are all sorts of cool places around here. It's quite artsy... interesting bars... stylish lofts... Thanks again to my friend Ted Morrison for showing me around!

Last night we had an amazing time exploring this incredible new structure in New York City. It's called The Vessel. I also wanted to thank Professor Hines for getting us in there! I probably walked up and down this structure about 10 times... photography + cardio!

Exploring Oman
I can't believe how much New York City has changed in just the last few years! I haven't been everywhere around the city, but we're getting most places... including spending a lot of time in Brooklyn, which has been awesome to explore.
