It's Back and All Brand-Spankin' New!

170 High-Res Textures plus a New Video Tutorial

Believe it or not, the first version of my Textures Tutorial was the very first video tutorial I made (even before the HDR Tutorial!) over five years ago! It was getting a little long in the tooth, so I decided to completely delete it, and start over from scratch with all my new tricks I’ve picked up over the years.

My new Textures video tutorial is about an hour long, plus there’s 170 super-high-res textures, including a ton of new ones from my travels in Africa and other strange-texturey-places around the world. How high-res are they? All of the textures are a whopping 7,800 pixels across (wider than a 36 megapixel camera) so there’s more than enough coverage for your photos.

You can get the 170 high-res textures for $24 -- OR -- you can include the video tutorial for just $5 more!

Behind the Scenes of a Commercial Shoot

Free Behind the Scenes Tutorial of me working with Air New Zealand

What’s the most surprising thing about this? I use a cropped sensor camera on a major commercial shoot with Air New Zealand! How did it work out? What did the client think? What did the art director think when I showed up with my little-man camera? See everything for yourself while you watch me conduct a commercial shoot for Air New Zealand on location at the Hobbiton Movie Set. In this 45-minute tutorial, you’ll learn how I work with the client, direct the models, select my composition, deal with lighting challenges and edit the images for a major ad campaign.

Below is a short preview of the full 45-minute tutorial. You can watch the entire tutorial for FREE here or you can click here to download a copy of the video (860MB) to watch offline on your local computer.

In this new weekly photography show, it'll be a combination of "The Voice" and relative insanity. Every week, we'll have about 5 or so photos come into the Big Competition. There will be a simple point-scoring system that will be controversial because it is so confusing. But there will be an ultimate winner every week!

That will be Autumn in New Zealand when the colors of the leaves are just amazing! Check out this behind the scenes video from our last New Zealand workshop. We are also making plans for two very unique adventures, one involves a Yoga retreat and another one in Venice!

Actually, this is Trey writing about this in third person. Both Trey and I appreciate your support very much!
