Last chance to get 20% off the October (Spring) New Zealand Photo Adventure!

Join us in New Zealand for a once-in-a-lifetime photo adventure of epic proportions!

I'm super excited for our next workshop in New Zealand. It's happening during Spring (October 17 - 21, 2016). There's no doubt that it will be as wild and fun as the ones that have come before. The team has been planning up a storm to make sure you get the most out of your week! You can read more about it over at the New Zealand Photo Adventures page.

"The week is more than a photography workshop or location tour - it’s an experience. An experience that both challenges and delights the senses - all of them. Not an easy thing to do and a touch unexpected. My sincere appreciation for an amazing week from door to door and sunrise to sunset."

- Mark Zaglas (Autumn Workshop, 2016)

Lightroom Workflow

How I combine all of my libraries together after traveling.

I have tens of thousands of photos at any one given time. I’ve worked hard to come up with a system that works for me... and maybe for you too! So last month I sat down to do some tidying up of my Lightroom libraries along with a bit of processing and thought, why not share that process with the world.

Holy Moly, the Kickstarter has passed $2 Million!

I love The Everyday Backpack, I'm currently carrying the 20L everywhere.

I had a blast working with the team at Peak Design on this project! Here's some fun facts we just got. This is the most funded active Kickstarter project. These are not only the most funded bags in Kickstarter history but the most funded photo gear ever! Thanks again to all the backers for making it a huge success – you guys rock! To learn more about the Everyday Backpack click here.

"We have to hand it to the team at Peak Design. They know the Devil is in the details. From careful consideration of space and storage, to materials, to the craftsmanship of the straps and closures, every aspect of their products are on point. As Peak Design says themselves, ‘This ain’t just a camera bag’"

- The Manual Magazine

The team at Peak Design has released a couple of new videos for all of the bags. Check 'em out!

The Everyday Sling
I know it appears the guy using this bag is engaged in semi-illegal activities, but just note you can use this bag for completely legal purposes. Find out more details about the Everyday Sling here.

The Everyday Tote
Something to set the ladies hearts a flutter. Check out all the features of the Everyday Tote over here.

Reminder: The Text HDR Tutorial is Always Free!

I keep a completely FREE HDR Tutorial for Macs and a separate FREE HDR Tutorial for Windows on my website. It is a living document that continues to evolve over the years. It goes over everything you need to get started and is a great introduction to the basics of HDR photography and post processing.
