Just 48 hours left to order Peak Design's new Travel Backpack!

Save 30% and receive the bag before Christmas

i-ZLwr6Bp.jpgI'm currently on my way to Spain to hike part of the famous Camino de Santiago trail. I'll be carrying the brand new Travel Backpack from Peak Design. I've been testing it out here in New Zealand and I absolutely love it. (I have the "sage" color, looks great!) It can expand to carry everything you need for a long trip and collapse down to a small pack while hiking.

It has a number of configurable options... packing cubes for clothing, a tech pouch, wash pouch, shoe pouch, rain fly and various sizes of cubes for your camera gear. I keep discovering new features, the Peak Design team seems to have thought of everything! Watch the video below for a detailed look at their packing tools.

Reminder: There's less than 48 hours left to be one of the first to get these new Travel Backpacks (before Christmas) and save 30%. Order now!

One of the most impressive new improvements to Skylum's new AI-based HDR algorithm in the new Aurora HDR 2019 is how well it handles indoor/architecture images. If you're a real estate photographer, or just love taking cool interior shots like me, then this is a game changer! The initial results are very well balanced with no halos or noise. Here's a few more images from Burning Man 2018

The temple burns the past away as they embrace. I've shared this work from @michaelbenisty.art a few different ways. This piece is called "In every lifetime I will find you.

The Polar Bear hunts the white sands at sunrise, just as his solar panels are charging.

Ahhhh - one of my favorite art pieces! These two giant marionettes would walk and talk everywhere. The girl's name is Euterpe and she was at Burning Man last year. This time, she brought her grandfather, Alberto. Here, she was walking around the playa with him showing him al the other art. They did all sorts of things together. They even went out into the playa and had a silent funeral where they would kneel and lay flowers on the ground. Everyone there also silently kneeled. Everyone seems to have an emotional response to these two. The official art work is called "Step Forward - Joining Minds" by: Miguel Angel Martin Bordera, founder of Carros de Foc from San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante, Spain. From their statement: "[The marionettes] are the young Euterpe, example of self-acceptance, and her grandfather Alberto, who shares interesting experiences and accumulated knowledge."

Here's the Hug Deli, where you can order whatever sort of hug you like. You can maybe zoom in and see the whole menu and the costs. These guys apparently ordered the Group Hug. It was really funny to watch them... a group hug is not as easy to orchestrate as one might think. First, all 10 of them held hands like they were about to play Red Rover. Then, one guy on the end stood still, and then the whole chain of people started to rotate around him, not unlike stringing a yo-yo. It was probably as much fun to watch as it was to be part of the hug.
