My Crazy Trip Around The World - Part 1

From the Great Wall to the Great Pyramids, I’m taking my family on a crazy trip around the world!

We started Part 1 of our 7-week family trip in Beijing with an excursion out of the airport during our stop-over to see The Great Wall of China and finished with four activity packed days at Disney World in Orlando!

The short version of this story is that my wife Tina was recently diagnosed with an unusual form of cancer — the same kind Steve Jobs had. Bad news, to say the least. Fast forward quite a few months and a couple of surgeries. Tina is now on the up, moving around and doing quite well! You can read the full story over here on the blog

My wife's cancer doctor, Dr. Eric Liu, established a charity called The Healing NET Foundation. You can contribute to this great cause in a totally unique way. You grab this app called Chatter for iOS or Chatter for Android. Find me in the app and donate as little as a dollar or even more. Your call! Every entry is a chance to win a one-on-one Facetime video chat with me. We can talk about whatever you like! :) Or I can just make conversation... I'm pretty good at that.

Thank you in advance for your support for our upcoming charity event :)

Some photos from over on the Blog :)

Here's a quad-panorama I shot while driving up Highway 1 in California. I stitched them together in Lightroom then ran the result through sweet sweet Aurora HDR!
From before we headed deep into the magical world of Disney in Orlando! This place is so awesome that even my grunting 15-year-old was happy!
Here's a sunrise from one in Half Moon Bay just south of San Francisco at the start of our great 7-week-trip! That place on the stunning coastline is the Ritz-Carlton where I’ve been staying with the family. A few nights before this there was a big fire pit out there and we were roasting smores — always a big hit with the kids!
In Beijing whilst the Chinese police observe... I love this photo of my two little girls at the Summer Palace after we spent the early morning hiking the Great Wall.
We had an amazing time at Disney World. This day in particular was a looooong one. You know how it is, 3 kids and 12 hours in an amusement park in the middle of winter...
My daughter Isabella explores the Great Wall of China for the first time... a great beginning to our 7-week-trip!
This girl, Scarlett, is in charge of my social media for my family trip over the next 7 weeks on snapchat at treyratcliff — tune in and enjoy the randomness.
