10 acres. 5 bedrooms. Views that will take your breath away. Champagne and cheese. Tennis and G&Ts. Hot tub Jacuzzi and chocolate. Kids laughing and playing in the lawn (kids are not included). This special place is best described through photos, a variety of which are shared below.

The modern interior of schist and natural wood blends perfectly with the incredible mountain environs. The warm, homey environment has an open floor plan that allows for easy movement between the kitchen, dining room, family room, all with a central fireplace in the middle to keep everything extra cozy. The main room around the kitchen is where everyone usually seems to gather to enjoy wine and snacks while looking out the giant windows on both sides that provide stunning views of the two iconic mountain ranges: The Remarkables and Coronet Peak.

The home itself also serves as the private gallery of Trey Ratcliff, a world-famous photographer who has collectors such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Edward Norton, as well as New Zealand collectors including Sir Michael Hill. When there are no guests, the home acts as an invite-only art gallery.

New Zealand and this beautiful home are waiting on you!

The house is situated right in the middle of the countryside, as you see above. It's about 10 minutes from Queenstown and 10 minutes from Arrowtown. There are views in all directions, from The Remarkables to Coronet Peak. If you're here for skiing, its just a short 10 minute drive to the top of Coronet!

This is a view from the front yard of the house. It sits on about 10 acres (4 hectres) of land. Depending on the time of year, this field might be full of sheepies. They are yours to play with to channel your inner shepherd. If anyone ever accuses you of being intimate with a sheep, just say the good 'ol New Zealand phrase, "No! No! I was just helping this sheep over the fence!"

Here's a view of the media/theater room from just outside. One time we found a dead neighbor in that bush, but that probably won't happen to you.

The master bedroom faces The Remarkables and the front yard, where sheep wander about and engage in sheep-like activities.

The family room is perfect for board games, pizza parties, and Netflix & Chill.

A short drive away is beautiful Lake Wakatipu. Countless beautiful views and hikes for all levels can be found in this area.

The dining room table looks out towards The Remarkables. Underfloor heating ensures you'll be cozy even in the middle of a moody New Zealand winter. In the middle of the summer, all the doors slide open on both sides to allow for the breeze to travel through the entire home.

A view of the Master Bathroom. Just to the right is the huge shower. Inside, two shower heads allow you to stand side-by-side with someone and have awkward conversations or whatever people do in the shower.

The family room is on the other side of the pass-through fireplace. All rooms feature some of Ratcliff's fine art. This one features a diptych of Tokyo.

Here is a blueprint of the home that gives you an idea of the placement of each of the rooms. Things not labeled include the laundry room, front/back porch, and various bathrooms.

A hot jacuzzi awaits you every night. It's European-style, which I think means clothing-optional.

Here's a view of the house and the 10 acres from above. There is plenty of room to romp around. The main house is there on the center right and the tennis court is on the left.

The entrance has an elliptical driveway, which is at least 30% more interesting than a circular driveway. There's plenty of parking if you want to have a few friends over.

Japanese Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) frame the tennis court. The court also features a basketball hoop and a netball hoop. Netball is popular in New Zealand; it's kind of like basketball but there is no backboard and it's quite boring.

This room has two twin beds, but this should be fairly obvious just by looking at it.

Here's another of the five bedrooms. This one has great views of the mountains.

Even though the whole home is cozy with underfloor heating, every evening is made better with a roaring fire.

Here are a bunch of fun and scenic places to visit in the immediate area.

Here's a view of downtown Queenstown in the winter. It's charming town that's very walkable, has incredible restaurants, bars, and shopping. The top of the gondola (where this photo was taken) also has a restaurant and bar.

Artist-in-residence, Trey Ratcliff, lives a short two minute walk away from the main house in his two-bedroom cottage that he uses as an art studio. When he is in town, he is available for art tours of the home. He currently has eight works hanging in the home. More information about the fine art can be found on the link below.

Want to take a nice walk without needing to get in the car? Just walk here, down beautiful Speargrass Flats road. To find this place, walk down the driveway of the home, turn right on Mountain View Road, then turn right on Dalefield road... walk down the curvy hill, then turn left on Speargrass Flats.

Another fun walk is at Lake Hayes. It's a five-minute drive from the home. There is a manicured path around the outside that is about 8km (5 miles) long.

My friends at Over the Top Helicopters can take you up to play some fantasy golf. Contact Louisa (just call her "Choppy" - she's a legend). Tell them Trey sent ya.

Here's the famous Earnslaw ship on Lake Wakatipu. You can join everyone on board and head over to a sheep station on the other side of the lake for a bit of fun.

Bob's Cove is about a 30 minute drive away along the road to Glenorchy. It's a must-stop!

About a 3.5hour drive to the north is a place called Lake Tekapo. It has some of the most amazing skies in the world in addition to world-class observatories.

Want to see the most beautiful road in the world? Drive about an hour to Glenorchy. There are several cafes there too that make for a perfect day-trip. Fun fact: They have only recently stopped eating humans in Glenorchy.

If you drive about 30 minutes towards Kingston, you'll come here to a place called The Devil's Staircase.

This is the famous Crown Range road that connects Queenstown to Wanaka. This particular spot is only about 20 minutes from the home. You can actually see the home down there in the valley if you have really, really good vision.

One hour to the north is another town called Wanaka. It's definitely worth the drive. There is a famous tree in the lake where lots of annoying people take selfies. It's okay if you want to do it too. Most people aren't as judgy as me.

This is the Earnslaw Burn. It can really only be accessed by helicopter.

Milford Sound is about a four-hour drive away. That seems like a long way, but the drive there is almost as beautiful as the destination itself.

If you make a day trip to Glenorchy (which you absolutely should), be sure explore the boardwalks into the wetlands. It's an easy walk with incredible views.
