During Burning Man 2022, I was fortunate enough to witness Monolink performing live on the Mayan Warrior. One particular moment from that night has etched itself in my memory, encapsulating the magic of Monolink’s music and the ethereal experience of Burning Man itself.

Monolink, true to his essence, graced the stage with his humble charm and dreamy aura. If you’re familiar with his performances, you’ll understand what I mean. Now, there’s this one instance in the middle of his set, around this timestamp (a big thank you to the Mayan Warrior team for their exceptional work!), where he’s about to unleash the beat of his track, The Silence.

What came next was a sound like no other – a primal, gut-wrenching, adrenaline-fueled audio wave that resonated through my very being and shook my skeleton. And Monolink knew it was coming… In the video, you can see him standing there, beaming with anticipation, dancing and waiting… As if saying, “Get ready for the sonic wave that I’m about to send across the desert, straight from my heart to yours.” And when he finally drops it… The euphoria is indescribable. This might seem extravagant to some, but to those who’ve shared similar experiences, it will resonate deeply.
