Back at the beginning of the pandemic being in New Zealand was really beneficial as we had a fairly normal life. That allowed me to finally do some exploring on the North Island when normally I’d have been all over the world. Here’s a spot I stayed on the east coast; it was pretty spectacular. Especially so on the days when storms were passing and really churning up the sand and overall atmosphere.
