An Incredible Photography Adventure Awaits

I visited Africa for the first time a few years ago when I held my first photography workshop in Namibia and Botswana. I didn’t know what to expect but I was absolutely blown away at the landscapes and the wildlife. It was like stepping back in time. And to see the animals, up close, in their native habitat was absolutely incredible!

Two photography workshops for all skill levels

In September 2019 we’ll be returning to Africa for two extraordinary photography workshops. In the first workshop we’ll spend 10 glorious nights in Botswana and Zimbabwe capturing a wide variety of exotic landscapes and wildlife, up close and personal. In the second workshop we will spend 11 nights across 6 different locations in South Africa and Madagascar!

Trey’s Recommendation: both workshops back to back!

As long as you are all the way over there, I highly recommend doing both of these photo adventures back-to-back. Also, I just checked your schedule for three weeks starting in September of 2019, and it’s totally clear. So many bucket list stops all at the same time; you don’t want to miss it! 🙂

Only the Best Accommodations

Of course we’ll be staying in the BEST resorts with the finest food, wine and service you can imagine! You can look at a few photos of the places we are staying together below, and you’ll quickly get an idea of the overall experience. It will all be totally safe and more than comfortable. As Buddha said, “It’s better to travel well than to arrive.”

Small and Exclusive Group

Naturally, I’ll be by your side the entire time. We’re keeping this group extremely small and exclusive, so you’ll have more than enough time with me. Not only will we be out shooting non-stop, but we’ll surely find more than enough time to sit around after the daily adventures and post-process our photos together.

Questions? Just Ask!

Our good friend, Neville Jones, has put together a great itinerary and will be with us for the entire trip to ensure it all goes smoothly. Neville is an experienced traveller, guide and talented photographer. You’ll find all of the details below. If you have any questions just let us know!

Workshop 1 – Botswana & Zimbabwe

Timeless Scenery plus Animals, Animals & More Animals!

We begin our adventure in Botswana at the Chobe River where large herds of elephants, hippo, buffalo and 70+ mammal and 450 bird species gather. We then move to the famous Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We’ll go on a sunset cruise and a number of other activities. Next up is a stay in the Gonarezhou National Park which is home to 4 of the “big 5” – elephant, leopard, lion and buffalo – plus 100s of other mammals, reptiles and birds. We’ll round out our trip at Matobo National Park with its epic landscapes filled with black rhinos, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, cheetah, hippo, warthog and crocodile as well as Africa’s largest concentration of leopard and black eagles.

Next we visit the Avenue of Baobabs, a stunning series of towering baobab trees lining a long dirt road.
