Spider Monkey in your Face
I hiked through the Batu Caves just outside of Kuala Lumpur and afterwards, I found myself surrounded by monkeys. They were a little more than “friendly”, and ventured into a word that is better described as “vicious”.
They were all over the place, at my feet, above me, jousting through nearby bars. All of these monkeys were utterly wild and in your face.

I didn’t think you were supposed to show monkeys your teeth lest they think you’re challenging them for dominance?

Yes - I was challenging him. Right after that shot, I bit him in the neck to let him know I wasn’t kidding.

That was a cool shot with tha monkey!
I can’t go up close and personal with ‘em. They really tend to have a fight with me everytime I get close and I wonder why.
Maybe there’s a dark aura around me all the time.

HAHA! Good old Batu Caves. I can’t believe you were bold enough to get so up close and personal. Well done.

I am surprise by the proximity. Usually they are kinda aggressive especially that close
