The Lobby of the Animal Kingdom Lodge
This hotel is great. We have a room that overlooks the Savannah and we can see giraffes, zebras, and about a dozen other exotic animals frolicking about. Thank goodness I brought the 200mm lens… although this one was taken with the 10mm Sigma.
Last night we had the Pirates and Princesses party. I was trying to figure out why so many adults were standing in line to get autographs from a Disney actor that was pretending to be Jack Sparrow, another actor. Mass hysteria, I say!

this is EXACTLY where i stayed a few years ago when i went to disney world! i LOOOOVED it,…i never want to stay anywhere else! gotta love the room views down into animal reserves, as well as the yummy african juices upstairs!!! mmmmm…maybe i should just book my trip right now!

I loved the AKL when we went down a few years ago. We loved it so much we decided to stay there on our next trip rather than try another resort. The Boma restaraunt is AWESOME!
