Slitherin
We’ve just started reading the second Harry Potter book to Ethan at night before bed so I found this old Voldemort picture in my library and thought I would upload it. I always thought it would be cool to have one of these things as a pet that freely moves around the house. If I could make a little iguana-door in the back and train it to kill/poop outdoors, then it would be the ultimate pet. Sort of my own Gratch…

I stumbled across your site through flickr and have been OBSESSED with your photos ever since. I’m definitely a wannabe photographer, but just don’t have the time right now. You are absolutely my favorite photographer now though! Can’t wait for more!

Nice saturated exposure. Looks awesome!
As for the pet thing .. as long as its not a basilisk, i think it would be okay as a pet

Hey Trey,
I haven’t seen the Harry Potter movies (gasp), so I’m not sure how much of your post is a tounge in cheek reference and how much is legit, so I’ll keep this relatively short.
First, that’s one of my favorite shots and it’s been in my wallpaper rotation for a while. Nicely done!
Second, Ig’s do make good pets. I had a 6 foot one several years ago… They can be “potty trained” (although they prefer water instead of litter), are perfectly fine free-roaming most houses and they’re mostly vegetarian… Iguanas supplement their diet with insects and such, but are generally quite happy munching on carrots, broccoli, or just about any other fruit or vegetable. Some Ig’s can have quite a bit of personality, especially if you start with them young.
Seeya!
